Rentals/Rent-to-Own

Our rental/rent to own program is designed with flexibility in mind.

(*We do also have a financing program if you prefer that option)

How does our rental/rent to own program work?

All of our rentals are automatically entered into the rent to own at no additional charge. There is only a one month minimum (you do not have to take it to the point of ownership). 50% of the $ from your monthly payments goes towards the purchase price of the instrument. But for the following kinds of payments: down payments, intermittent overpayments, and terminal payments (paying off the rest of what is owed at the end), those apply at the rate of 100% towards the purchase price of the instrument. We allow for limited pauses in the rental, and we allow you to resume when you’re ready without losing out on the credit portion of your payments (monthly, down, and intermittent overpayments). We won’t hold that specific serial number of instrument for you during these pauses, but we usually have something available when you're ready to resume. Time limitation of the pause at the discretion of Bocal Majority. You can also change instruments and transfer the applicable payments you've built up in this instrument to another instrument (monthly, down, intermittent overpayments).  All payments are nonrefundable if you do decide to cease your rental (including the down payment).

Rental terms: There is a one month minimum rental period. Initial payment of one month's rent must be paid at the beginning of the rental. Subsequent monthly payments will be charged to a credit card on the same day of the month each month. If an instrument is returned prior to the minimum period, a charge will be made to fulfill the minimum period. A partial month will be charged as a full month without proration.

Customer must complete our rental request form and provide the following: proof of being 18 or over, driver's license with photo showing current address, and a credit card in the same name (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover card). A photo copy will be made of your driver's license.

Normal maintenance is included and is only to be performed by Bocal Majority. Loaner instruments are not available. Rental charges continue while the instrument is in the shop. If instruments are damaged due to gross misuse, repair charges will be incurred.

We may be able to tailor options to meet specific needs, but in general with our rent-to-own program:

To get the rental process started, fill out this rental request form. You may also feel free to call us with questions and select the option to speak with Jennifer, the instrument manager. We will issue you a contract to sign by email after the request is entered. Instrument availability can be limited, so making a request does not guarantee rental availability.
